Collection of Microscope Slides in Display Mounting, 18th Century

Collection of Eighteenth Century slides mounted a wall-hung display case. Display features a stage forceps, three large wooden sliders for use with solar microscopes, three ivory sliders with opaque specimen chambers and two ivory and one copper alloy slider with transparent chambers. Also present is a copper alloy wet cell and a diagram of slider preparation. Each slider group has an associated written description.
