Description
The book (written and published by Moxon) was actually in English and called 'Tutor to Astronomy and Geography', but the frontispieces or engraved title pages to some editions also give the title in Latin, as here. The illustrations show two women with globes and books, Tycho Brahe and Ptolemy, and a panorama of London. Which edition this example is from has not been ascertained; the second edition was 1670; by the fifth edition 1698 a portrait of Moxon himself appears with the Latin title.
