Description
Original card box containing a set of 11 small, taxiphote-format glass stereoscopic transparencies, and several slips of paper and card cut to the same size; they consist of 6 gelatine transparencies, 4 collodion, and 1 auto chrome. One of the collodions is broken. They mostly show views of Oxford, Hampton Court, the River Thames, and Kingston-on-Thames, with one of the Moon and the auto chrome showing a pot of plants. They are mostly captioned in writing on the glass. One of the uncaptioned ones is a busy street scene of Cornmarket Street, Oxford with motor cars of the 1920s.
