Description
Matt gelatine print. Perkin stands in his research laboratory at the recently-built Dyson Perrins Laboratory, Oxford (built 1916), examining some chemical in a ?test tube or small vessel. Various glass chemical vessels are on the bench where he stands, and others in the foreground, and also a chemical balance; glass jars of chemicals are on shelves on the wall beside him.
