Engraving depicting profile portrait of Joseph Priestly (1733-1804) by William Bromley (1769-1842). Female figure using chemistry apparatus and two cherrubic figures blowing bubbles towards portrait insert, possibly in reference to his isolation and identification of seven gases, includiong oxygen.
