Description
A simple pocket microscope made of copper alloy with a hinged ivory handle and a hinged lens mount. A bar with a central slot projects from the hinge, and the specimen holder is inserted in a pin hole in the cylinder in the central slot. The cylinder runs in the slot, and the specimen holder can be moved up and down for focussing.
The case is constructed of wood, lined with paper, and painted black
