Primary inscriptions
"J. H. DALLMEYER London" is engraved on the cap of both objectives "1/4 In." is engraved on the cap and bottom of one, and "T.C." is scratched on the top as well. "11/2 In." is engraved on the cap and the bottom of the other.

Description

Two copper alloy objectives of different powers, manufactured by Dallmeyer. The two objectives have powers of 1/4 inch and 1 1/2 inch. Both objectives have copper alloy, conical shaped bodies. The 1/4 inch power has a correction collar that is marked 0 - 20. Both objectives are stored in copper alloy cans with threaded lids, the lids of each are engraved with the manufacturer's name and the power of the objective.

Dallmeyer was famous as a maker of photographic lenses and microscope objectives. He was associated with Andrew Ross.
