Description
A standard barometer No. 708. Philip Harris & Co. Ltd. , Birmingham. Made up of a plain wooden backboard with firmly supported metal tube housing the mercury glass. Slightly adjustable. Painted copper alloy with lacquered copper alloy features. Scale is a silvered copper alloy tube with engraved scales in a glass sleeve, held in place with copper alloy fittings. Name plate attached to back board.
