Description
Set of four high power microscope lenses with case, by Pritchard, English, 19th century. Four copper alloy lens mounts with extremely fine lenses: one with its end and interior painted black and a 1mm lens, one with its interior painted black and a 3mm lens, one with a shorter and more elaborate frame and a 2mm lens and one that is painted black on the top and back and has a 1mm lens. Contained in a dark red leather case with purple silk lining in lid and dark blue velvet onto base.
