Description

Microscope slides, by Pritchard, London, late 19th century with case. Object consists of nine glass slides coated with blue paper that contain specimens of a bug, forceps of an earwig, hairs from a caterpillar and Indian bee, scales from a gudgeon and herring, polypee weed and a butterfly wing. One slide is unlabelled. They are contained in a red leather and cardboard case with a green fabric lining and a lid that detaches.
