Description

A copper alloy and nickel-plated travelling microscope with a folding tripod. The body-tube slides into a split collar mounted on rack work. Fine focus is adjusted by micrometre screw at the top of the limb. An eyepiece pushes into the graduated draw tube. An illuminator with an iris diaphragm is set below the rectangular stage and the Plano-concave mirror can be slotted onto an attachment there. A Travis type stage mechanism to position the specimen fits onto the stage plate. The carrying case is leather lined with claret velvet.
