Description

An electromagnetic stopwatch in a copper alloy frame mounted on a plywood box that contains a power supply. There is a small dial within the larger dial. The small one is marked "SECONDS" and is divided into 30ths marked "50 100 150 ... 250". The large one is divided into 100ths marked "0 1 ... 9". Around the side of the copper alloy frame is a dial marked "WIND", a button marked "RESET ZERO" and two progs marked "4 VOLTS". Wires coming up through the plywood box are ready to be attached to the prongs. At the side of the box is a 1 pronged outlet and 2 plastic knobs, one red and one black. This instrument was used in reaction time experiments at the IEP c.1948.
