Description
The alidade has a scale of 20 inches, a diagonal scale of half and quarter inches, and a plain scale dividing inches into 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 60 parts, with two scales of chords. On the underside are logarithmic scales of numbers, sines and tangents. The sights are alternating slit and thread, sliding onto sockets and fixed by (missing) screws.
