Description

Gelatine print. Perigal aged 96, half to three-quarter length seated, facing front, in an easy chair in his study, surrounded by various furnishings, objects, and pictures, including his revolving book press and a portrait of himself on the wall. Compare the stereoscopic view (80981), also by Teasdale. The photograph, or this print of it, is somewhat over-exposed.
