Description
This mathematical typewriter features a keyboard which folds up against the machine so that it can be stored in a smaller carrying case. The machine is screwed into the base of the case. The keys are in the qwerty orientation, with mathematical scripts and numbers also available on the keys. There is a rotating horizontal type wheel in front of the platen, which would have held the paper. The machine uses type-shuttle and hammer typing where a hammer in the back of the machine would strike the type-carrying wheel in the front of the machine.
