Description

Large spherical glass bulb with a nozzle at the base, the bulb is topped with a spherical glass knob tied around with rope from which it can be suspended.

One of five replica pieces of glassware made for the late Frank Sherwood Taylor to use in his Royal Institution Christmas Lectures 1952 (others are alembic head 59625, retort 10252, inverted jar 65613, and receiving flask 20499).
