Description
A large wooden case with a hinged lid that is held in place with two swing clasps. The lid can be removed by sliding the lid in an open position to the right. Inside the case is a mechanical calculator comprising of a central rotating disc with numbered inlays and many holes for slotting Ivory pegs. Around this disc is a semi-circular copper alloy plate with various numbered sliders. Beneath the disc is a handle that turns a number of copper alloy gears.
