Description

Portable Valve Transmitter, with single valve compartment, bakelite? aerial inductance (scale 0-180) and reaction coil (scale -90-+90) knobs, filament (scale OFF-3) and sliding resistance (out<-resistance->in) controls, Weston Ammeter (scale 0-10, 0-0.10), and 'Press 10 Amps' button. With earth and aerial nickel-plated terminals, hinged lid and two brass plaques on top surface; hinged lid on side. In teak case with removable front cover, circuit diagram pasted on interior of lid. Previously catalogued with Small Morse Key (Inv. Num. 71452).
