Description

Crystal Valve Receiver, basically of Type 16 structure (with four battery terminals rather than three), but with contacts for two FE2 valves and one four-pin valve in place of both crystal detectors. With aerial tuning inductance valve (OFF, MIN, MAX), capicitance dial (scale 0-9, SHORT), jigger switch dial, and battery and telephone terminals, upon ebonite surface on teak case. Lid is detachable. Originally included stencilled instructions and a circuit plan for a Crystal Valve Receiver Type 16.
