Description

Marconi Radio Valve Type Q, with distinctive wire mesh cage grid. Grid is made of longitudinal wires with interwoven helical wire, all supported on rectangular wire frame. Filament is not clear but is single strand filament running length of valve and tensioned by a spring. With complete filament, and plain metal cylinder anode taken to one of the side connections. Damaged and with one of metal side caps removed or missing. Previously catalogued with assorted other valves.
