Description

Gulstad Relay consisting of glazed top lacquered brass cylinder on black-painted rectangular metal base. With two brass dials on lower section of cylinder, one marked "SPACING", "MARKING" and the other marked "CLOSE", "OPEN". Glazed top reveals various brass components and a nickel-plated needle. Underside of base mostly hollowed out and reveals various metal and nickel-plated contacts. Previously catalogued with two other relays (Inv. Num.s 46067, 13183).

Elliott Brothers adopted the style Elliott Brothers (London) Ltd. at the end of 1916.
