Description

Marconi-Osram Radio Valve (or Tube) Type DET 1A, with large glass balloon envelope. Unusual form of base: square red composition base with brass? base pins at four corners. With vertically-mounted nickel-plated anode and interior filament. Previously catalogued with Siemens & Haske Radio Valve Type RE87 (Inv. Num. 69068), GPO Radio Valve Type No 2 (Inv. Num. 26614).
