Description

Aircraft Wireless Receiver, in teak case with sloping flap forming a desk. With aerial tuning inductance, rack-and-pinion Billi condenser for jigger, potentiometer, two reversible carborundum detectors, short/long wave switch, condenser off/on switch. Assorted controls are made of bakelite and nickel-plated materials, mounted on an interior sloped ebonite panel. With bakelite dial (scale 0-90) on front vertical surface of case. With Aerial and Earth terminals (marked with celluloid plaques) on side exterior surface of case. Previously associated and catalogued with Catalogue For Aircraft Wireless Receiver (Inv. Num. 32919), showing larger version with Aerial Tuning Condenser.
