Description

Wood cabinet with glazed hinged door to front, 29 drawers for microscope slides with ivory pull knobs. Contains 487 slides. Most drawers have labels. Label card attached states, 'Chest of Microscope Slides, mid-19th century, Presented by Mrs. A. C. Longland.' There is a range of specimen slides including ‘Chemicals’, ‘Insects’ and ‘Anatomical’.
