Description
Two loose glass slides dated to 1840s. (1) Glass slide covered in gold and navy patterned paper with rectangular white label at top. On label "...(?) B.B. 1844" Specimen in square cut-out under square coverslip. Slide contains single brown specimen preserving little detail. (2) Glass slide covered in blue paper with rectangular white label at top. "Pollen ... (?)" Writing on blue paper "1843" Specimen inside rectangular cut-out under square coverslip. Numerous small green oval pollen grains.
