Description
Large camera obscura in the form of a mahogany box. The lid forms the back of the chamber and there are two folding sides. The mirror and lens are a detachable unit that folds flat for packing. The original lens was broken (pieces are in an envelope in the drawer) and replaced. There is small match box containing four screws and a small circular plaque.
Unsigned but probably Adams (according to Clay catalogue).
