The cast iron foot is in the form of a double triangle and supports a limb and body tube of nickel plated copper alloy. The draw tube is engraved with three rings set an inch apart. The stage has two spring clips and a conical iris controlled by a helical wheel is attached to its underside. A plano-concave mirror is mounted on a pivoting arm below the stage.
