Description

Clover inhaler with half-metal, half-transparent chamber. Glass dome with a metal base and a metal cylinder running through it. The top of the cylinder has an arm extending from it with a claw and valve on one end. There is a white crystalline accretion on the inside of the dome, which may be left from the ether.

Invented in 1877 by Joseph Thomas Clover (1825 -- 1882).
