Description

Siding microtome consisting of a rectangular specimen plate which sits on an adjustable column. Column has a rotating dial at bottom. Specimen plate sits between a set of metal runners (.1). A carriage with clamps to hold a blade sits on top of these runners (.2). When the carriage is at the end of the runners it acts on a lever attached to the base of the microtome, which causes the specimen to advance.
