Description
German or French sandglass, probably a facsimile of a 16th century type. Red sand; scales I-XII hours with indices top and base. Running time: 4 minutes.
Note that the glass seems to be a single piece rather than two joined bulbs - which casts doubt on this being a complete 16th-century object.
