Description

An oval black metal case with a hinged lid. The lid is lined with cream satin and the base is lined with a green fabric. It contains: a pocket balance with an iron alloy handle and green strings to hold the copper alloy plates; a copper alloy weight disc; 2 copper alloy cylindrical weights with knobs on top that are kept in slots in a pink card holder inside the case.

Metal case with hinged lid, possibly with lacquer surface; silk padding in lid, green felt on base.
