Description

Plaster globe with printed paper gores depicting locations of celestial bodies and constellations. Set on cast copper alloy stand rising to a ring freely supporting the globe; copper alloy ring half divided 0-18, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1; with a semi-circle set at right angles to the ring, divided 0-9, numbered by 1, subdivided to 0.1; pivoted quadrant, unnumbered, divided to degrees; copper alloy cap on a pivoted curved arm.

Globe is stored in a wooden case with metal carrying handle.
