Description
Wooden and glass tray of miscellaneous microscope accessories.
The container is a wooden rectangular box with glass lid, baize? lining and coloured wire around the outside.
Inside is a copper alloy and metal rectangular plate engraved with the numbers 1-24 each with a circular hole above.It has a copper alloy circular knob in the centre.
There are two metal rectangular microscope attachments, possibly microscope compressoriums. One with an internal screw which opens shutters for a circular hole and one with an exterior screw and oval hole in the centre.
There are six copper alloy and metal microscope nosepieces; five cross shaped in design, one of which has a part missing and one of a circular domed design.
There are six copper alloy and metal circular microscope attachments of various shapes and sizes.
There are three copper alloy circular cone shapes microscope attachments with circular hole at the tip.
There are four glass lenses; one with copper alloy and metal arm positioned at a right-angle, one cylindrical shaped copper alloy lens, one circular flat glass lens and one very small glass lens with a metal rim.
