Wooden fitted box. Contains 96 3¼-inch square glass lantern slides, including a sequence of hand-painted studies of snakes by L. J. Veley, and photographs by Newton & Co., Douglas English, W. Saville Kent, W. M. Martin, F. A. Bellamy, and D. Gould. The images include Jaws of a Rattlesnake, Australian Spinous Lizard on a Straw-hat, and a Gigantic Armoured Dinosaur (Stegosaurus Ungulatus).
