Wooden box (home-made). Contains 56 3¼-inch square glass lantern slides for Frederick Addey's lectures on the history of science, with section headings Royal Society, Royal Society Portraits, and Physics Portraits. The Royal Society portrait slides include Samuel Pepys, Christopher Wren and Robert Hoyle. The "Physics" portrait slides include Einstein, Christian Huyghens, John Tyndall, John Dolland, Monsieur and Madame Curie and Lord Rutherford.
