Description
Semi-fitted wooden box with leather strap and ivory name plate. Intended for standard three-and-a-quarter-inch square lantern slides. Empty except for fifteen wooden dividers this is more than could be fitted into this box. Presumably Miss Willmott's slides have been removed so that the box could be re-used by F. Sherwood Taylor (Curator of MHS 1940-50) for his own or the Museum's slides; found empty in the 1980s.
