Description
Three slides, two of them have two
sliding wooden sheets either side, and the sheets are labelled 1, 2, 3, 4. One slide has only a metal sheet
and the other a sheet of glass and metal. The third slide has two openings, one lifts up by means of a leather handle and the other slides open, the last inch of the wood is hinged.
The patent portable ‘field’ folding camera by W. W. Rouch & Co, London has a mahogany body and
copper alloy trim. Red leather square bellows at the front can be pulled
forward. The back section is hinged so the photographic plates can be put in place.
