Description
Particular and universal astrolabe. Comparison of this astrolabe with others during the 'Familia Universalis Coignet' exhibition in Antwerp in 1998 suggested that the idea that this astrolabe derives from the Antwerp workshop of Michael Coignet is probably unfounded.
