Description

Square base plate with three holes (for feet or for fixing onto pedestal?), decorated spandrels, and divided circle. Mounted on the base is a rotatable circular plate, with the azimuth dial set within the horizontal dial for 45°. The horizontal string gnomon dial has a (restored) folding gnomon support with plumb level; the azimuth dial has a folding gnomon on a cursor moving against a zodiac calendar scale.
