Hood for Longcase Clock

Wood panelled case with dovetail joints. The case is topped with ornate gold painted roundels, beneath this is a window through which the clock face can be seen, either side of the window are grooved wooden pillars with copper alloy fitting at either end, the uppermost bears a leaf design. The main body of the clock has a central door with a lion, the door is also flanked with grooved wooden pillars with copper alloy ends.
