Description

Blueprint of a chronograph designed for the observatory at Perth, Western Australia, by Sir Howard Grubb. Large, horizontal format, folded many times. Presumably it was sent to the Radcliffe Observatory in connection with their order for a similar chronograph, the blueprint for which is 11904, dated October 8, 1897. [The state observatory at Perth was founded in 1896, and officially opened in 1900.]
