Description

Stereoscopic albumen print (single print) mounted on green card, rounded corners. Surprising stereoscopic effect, an example of an apparently unpromising view which shows unexpected layers and depth when viewed stereoscopically. It also seems to have been coloured at one time (purple and green), but the colouring is now only visible when viewed obliquely.

Part of a collection of stereoscopic photographs in three boxes (boxes not retained), accompanying a small stereoscopic viewer (xxx).
