Description

Stereoscopic salted paper prints mounted within pinkish-cream card, translucent tissue type, pink by transmitted light. The images are rich brown in colour and entirely without evidence of glaze or coating, and must therefore be a rare example of a stereoscopic photograph by the salted paper print (calotype) process.

Part of a collection of stereoscopic photographs in three boxes (boxes not retained), accompanying a small stereoscopic viewer (xxx).
