Description

Large albumen print mounted on card. Vertical format. A turned ornamental ivory temple, made up from the components shown in 12727 and 12728. One of 4 photographs of the turned temples (the other is 12730), associated with a further group of 15 numbered photographs (see 12731) of other turned objects. Issued by the lathe manufacturers Holtzapffel & Co. as specimens of what could be made on their lathes.
