Description

Used in Telegraphy to amplify the power lost on long cables, by activating a sensitive coil which moves contacts that operate equipment powered locally.

Wooden circular base with brass fittings marked by letters 'D, D, S, T, M, U, U'. Brass cylinder body with glass top on hinged lid. Brass turning knob on side labelled 'S' and 'M'.
