Description
Miniature album bound in dark green cloth with blue marbled endpapers, consisting of a linen sheet which folds out, 16 photographs mounted on it, together with 1 mounted inside the binding. They are purple-toned albumen prints mounted on card and then on the sheet. They show part of a collection of scientific instruments, mostly barometers, the instruments numbered 100 to 167 by means of handwritten labels stuck on to the photographs. The writing is English, and probably 19th century. The identity of the collection and source of the photographs is not recorded.
