Description

Square box with two alternately hinged covers. Circular scale and shadow square (alidade missing); horizontal dial with folding gnomon (detached); compass set in revolving compass-rose plate (needle and glass missing); nocturnal, lunar volvelle and aspectarium (folding index broken); quadrant and shadow square (plumb bob missing); scales of equal parts on two sides.
