Description
Gilt brass box with upper and base lid. It includes a volvelle and compass rose [rotating disc missing], a lunar volvelle [rotating disc missing], a universal equinoctial dial, for latitudes 42° to 54° [gnomon missing], a horizontal string-gnomon dial and a magnetic compass [with modern needle], a circular table of the latitudes of 12 towns and a table of the latitude of 18 places.
