Description
Integral box design. Black painted interior. Wooden outer casing with metal attachments and wooden handle. Circular glass panel at the front displays a scale front 0-2 foot candles. Hinged door at the back.
Oxford University's Department of Engineering Science was founded in 1908, so this may be one of its original instruments.
