Description
A kymograph resembling the standard pattern made by the main specialist maker, C. F. Palmer of London, but with a pulley-wheel drive where Palmer's, by the 1920s anyway, had an enclosed driving mechanism (either clockwork or a motor). The shiny brass lever-switch bears the name and symbol of A. Kershaw, Leeds, who may either have manufactured it following the standard Palmer style, or possibly have retailed or later repaired it.
